Could a simple blood test track deadly brain cancer?

NCT ID NCT07420543

Summary

This study aims to see if a special fluorescent dye used during brain surgery can help create a blood test for glioblastoma, a very aggressive brain tumor. Researchers will collect blood and urine samples from about 30 patients before and after they receive the dye to measure its levels. The goal is to see if these levels in the blood can help doctors diagnose the tumor, track it after treatment, and predict patient outcomes.
