Inclusion Criteria: * Age over 18 years * Elective orthotopic liver transplantation Exclusion Criteria: * Liver retransplantation * multi-organ transplantation * Urgent/emergency transplantation * Active infection under antibiotic treatment at the time of surgery * Preoperative systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) * Incomplete intraoperative glycemic data * Pregnancy * Participation in another interventional study that could affect glycemic control or infection risk
