Pregnancy blood pressure check: are doctors doing it wrong?

NCT ID NCT07320339

Summary

This study aims to understand if there's a difference between carefully measured blood pressure (following strict guidelines) and routine measurements taken by nurses during pregnancy check-ups. Researchers will enroll 500 women aged 18-40 to compare these two methods. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve how blood pressure is measured in pregnant women, which is crucial for detecting conditions like high blood pressure.
