First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether giving a medicine called noradrenaline through a vein during surgery can prevent dangerous drops in blood pressure better than usual care. About 750 adults aged 45 and older having non-cardiac surgery will take part. The goal is to see if this approach reduces episodes of very low blood pressure and related heart problems.
