Mayo clinic launches study to protect cancer Patients' hearts from drug side effects

Summary

This study aims to understand and better manage high blood pressure and heart risks in people with certain blood cancers who are taking a specific type of medication called a BTK inhibitor. Researchers will closely monitor 100 patients for one year to see how often these side effects occur and to test the best ways to control blood pressure. The goal is to help patients continue their cancer treatment safely by preventing serious heart-related problems.
