Could a simple cuff during chair exercises build a stronger back?
NCT ID NCT07182812
Summary
This study is testing if adding a special cuff that partially restricts blood flow to the legs during simple sit-to-stand exercises can improve back muscle endurance and balance better than doing the same exercises without the cuff. Healthy young adults aged 20-25 will be randomly assigned to do the exercises with or without the cuff for 6 weeks. The goal is to see if this method is a safe and practical way to help prevent back problems and improve posture.
