Summary
This study will check if a blood donor's lifestyle and nutrition affect the quality of stored red blood cells and the safety of transfusions in newborns and new mothers. Researchers will study over 1,000 donors and track how their blood holds up during storage and how it impacts patients. The goal is to learn how donor habits might influence transfusion outcomes.
