Doctors launch major study to predict dangerous bleeding in liver patients
NCT ID NCT07405749
Summary
This study aims to better understand when and why patients with severe liver pressure (portal hypertension) bleed during planned medical procedures. It will follow 2500 patients to track bleeding events and identify which patient and procedure factors are most predictive of risk. The goal is to gather knowledge to help doctors make safer decisions about performing procedures on these patients.
