First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a treatment that addresses physical, psychological, and social factors works better than standard physical therapy for chronic low back pain. Eighty adults with pain lasting over 12 weeks took part. The experimental group received added therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy and pain education, while the control group got routine exercises and heat. Researchers measured pain, disability, and social support to see which approach helped more.
