NCT ID NCT07546994
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at the sticky layer of germs (biofilm) that forms on central venous catheters in intensive care patients. Researchers will measure how much biofilm builds up inside and outside the tube. The goal is to learn more about these infections so better prevention methods can be developed. About 150 catheters from adult ICU patients will be studied.
