Can a weekly 'Posture Coach' ease back pain and improve walking for seniors?
NCT ID NCT06782919
Summary
This study aimed to see if a special training program could help older adults walk better and manage chronic low back pain. Researchers planned to compare 20 seniors with back pain to 20 without, measuring their posture and walking before and after a four-week training course. The training used biofeedback, a technique that helps people become more aware of and control their body movements, to improve trunk muscle control during walking.
