First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests if playing special sounds called binaural beats through earphones during breast reconstruction surgery can lower the dose of anesthesia drug remimazolam needed. 88 adults will be randomly assigned to hear either binaural beats or silence. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach can make anesthesia safer and reduce side effects.
