Summary
This study tests whether a bile acid supplement called 7-keto lithocholic acid (7-KLCA) can change the types of bacteria in the gut and improve health markers like blood sugar and cholesterol. Researchers will give 40 healthy adults the supplement for 12 weeks and measure changes in their gut bacteria and blood. The goal is to see if this supplement could help prevent future disease.
