First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical approach for people with large rotator cuff tears. Instead of cutting the biceps tendon, surgeons move it to help repair the torn shoulder muscles. The goal is to see if this method improves shoulder function, quality of life, and sleep over 12 months. About 35 adults will take part, and their progress will be tracked using surveys and physical exams.
