NCT ID NCT05550636

First seen Jan 10, 2026

Summary

This completed Phase 1 trial looked at whether taking multiple doses of the experimental drug BI 1015550 (nerandomilast) changes how the body processes midazolam, a common sedative. Fifteen healthy men aged 18-55 took part. The goal was to see if BI 1015550 affects a key liver enzyme, which could matter for future patients taking other medications.
