New pill for tough leukemia cases enters human testing

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new daily pill, BH-30236, in adults whose acute myeloid leukemia or high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome has returned or stopped responding to other treatments. The main goals are to check safety, find the right dose, and see if the drug can shrink cancer. About 170 participants will take the drug alone or with another medicine called venetoclax.
