New drug cocktail aims to shrink Hard-to-Treat breast tumors

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug (BGB-21447) combined with standard hormone therapy, with or without another targeted drug, in people with HR+/HER2- breast cancer that has spread. The goal is to find safe doses and see if the combination can shrink tumors. About 120 adults who have already tried hormone therapy and a CDK4/6 inhibitor will participate.
