NCT ID NCT05592678

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026

Summary

This study aims to improve how clinical trials for dementia and Alzheimer's are conducted. Researchers will test if a new way of measuring thinking and daily function (called "δ") can better show if a treatment works. They will also check if blood proteins called adipokines can predict who will respond to the drug donepezil. The study involves 200 people aged 65-100 with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's, along with their caregivers.
