New program aims to bridge critical gap for brain injury recovery at home

Summary
This study is testing a support program called BETTER for adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their families after they leave the hospital. The program provides education, helps coordinate care, and teaches coping skills over 16 weeks to improve patients' quality of life and ease the transition home. Researchers will compare outcomes for 500 participants receiving the BETTER program to those receiving usual care.
