Doctor's eye beats paper: new study aims to catch hidden arthritis in psoriasis patients
NCT ID NCT07298265
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to find psoriatic arthritis (PsA) in people with psoriasis: a questionnaire filled out by the patient versus a physical exam by a dermatologist. About 500 adults with psoriasis will be checked using both methods, then referred to a rheumatologist for a final diagnosis. The goal is to see which approach leads to more accurate and earlier detection of PsA, potentially preventing joint damage.
