Summary
This study tested if a new, clearer guide for patients and nurses on how to shower before surgery could make skin cleaner and help prevent infections at the surgical site. Researchers first interviewed patients and healthcare workers to design the guide, then planned to see if it worked. The trial was stopped early and only involved 22 participants.
