First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares two ways of deciding when to give extra pain medicine after surgery. One method uses a standard pain scale, while the other also considers how much pain limits movement. The goal is to see if the new method reduces unnecessary painkiller use. About 76 adults having scheduled surgery will take part.
