NCT ID NCT05927935

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests if 6 months of supervised strength exercises can improve hip-related quality of life more than usual care for people with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS), a common cause of hip pain. About 120 adults aged 18-50 with hip pain lasting at least 3 months will be randomly assigned to either strength training or standard care. The main goal is to see if the exercise group reports better hip function and less pain.
