NCT ID NCT07322705
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Aug 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study compares a new traction method that avoids using a perineal post during hip arthroscopy to the standard method. The goal is to see if it reduces nerve injuries, pain, and other complications. 270 people with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome will be randomly assigned to one of the two traction techniques.

- Perineal Post-Free Traction (procedure)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could offer a safer traction method for hip arthroscopy, reducing nerve injuries and improving recovery.
