First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a daily berry extract supplement (from aronia, honeyberry, and bilberry) could improve vision in 27 adults aged 50+ with presbyopia (age-related blurry near vision). Participants took the supplement or a placebo for 6 weeks each, with a 5-week break in between. Researchers measured changes in vision, eye structure, and blood markers related to lens health.
