This study tests two different doses of the blood thinner bemiparin to see which works better at preventing dangerous blood clots after surgery in people with severe obesity. About 2,400 participants having general, gynecologic, or weight-loss surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two dose regimens. The goal is to find the safest and most effective way to protect these high-risk patients from clots.
