New hope for Tough-to-Treat myeloma: experimental drug combo enters trials

Summary

This study tests a drug called belumosudil mesylate, given alone or with dexamethasone, in people whose multiple myeloma has returned or stopped responding to treatment. The first part finds the safest dose, and the second part checks if that dose helps control the cancer. About 36 adults will take part at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
