New drug cocktail shows promise for Hard-to-Treat bone marrow cancer

Summary
This early-phase study tests a combination of three drugs—belantamab mafodotin, nirogacestat, and pomalidomide—in people with multiple myeloma that has returned or stopped responding to treatment. The main goal is to find the safest dose of belantamab when given with the other two drugs. The study also checks whether the combination can slow or stop cancer growth. Only 9 participants are enrolled, and all have already tried at least 3 prior treatments.
