Summary
This study tests a workshop for dentists, hygienists, and assistants to improve how they interact with children aged 2-10 during dental visits. The training is based on a proven behavior program for preschoolers. Researchers will compare providers who get the training immediately to those who wait, measuring changes in their use of positive communication skills.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to a standard training program that helps dental providers manage children's behavior more effectively, reducing stress for kids, parents, and staff.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study focused on provider behavior, not patient outcomes. The training may not translate to real-world improvements or be widely adopted.
