First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether drinking beetroot juice every day for 12 weeks can help exercise work better for the heart and blood vessels in women after menopause. The researchers will compare two groups of women doing the same exercise program: one group gets real beetroot juice, the other gets a placebo. They will measure blood vessel function, blood pressure, and fitness levels to see if the beetroot juice makes a difference.
