Simple bedside exercises aim to get seniors moving faster after surgery

NCT ID NCT05338528

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple, independent bedside exercise plan helps older adults recover faster after surgery. Over 2,000 patients aged 65+ having common surgeries will either follow the exercise plan or receive usual hospital care. The goal is to see if getting patients moving sooner reduces hospital stays, complications, and costs.
