First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests a simple bedside exercise program called BE-FIT for adults aged 65 and older recovering from surgery. The program encourages early movement and self-managed exercises to prevent muscle loss and speed up recovery. Researchers will compare how often patients get out of bed, how quickly they regain mobility, and whether hospital stays are shorter compared to usual care.
