New hope for blood cancer patients: experimental drug targets leukemia

Summary
This study is testing an experimental drug called BGB-11417 for people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), or related blood cancers. The drug blocks a protein that helps cancer cells survive. The trial will find the best dose and see if the drug works safely alone or with another medicine. About 260 adults will take part.
