New study tests simple exercises for flat feet relief

NCT ID NCT07229079

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding Basic Body Awareness Therapy (BBAT) to standard Short Foot Exercises (SFE) improves balance, body awareness, and foot pain in adults with flexible flat feet. Fifty participants aged 18-45 will be split into two groups: one doing BBAT plus SFE, the other doing SFE alone, for eight weeks. Researchers will measure foot arch height, balance, and sensation before, after, and two months later.
