First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests if walking barefoot can ease heel pain from plantar fasciopathy better than standard stretching and strengthening exercises. About 74 adults aged 18-70 with heel pain will be randomly assigned to either a 12-week barefoot walking program or a stretching program. Participants will complete weekly questionnaires and follow-up surveys for 6 months to track pain, foot function, and quality of life.
