NCT ID NCT06335017
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether drinking castor oil before using a balloon catheter can shorten the time from labor induction to delivery in women who have given birth before. About 216 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the castor oil mixture plus the catheter or just the catheter alone. The goal is to see if the combination safely speeds up the process and improves birth outcomes.
