First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a brief mindfulness-based lifestyle program for caregivers of people with neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Many caregivers are not physically active, raising their risk for heart disease. The program combines in-person group sessions with personalized text messages to encourage more activity. Researchers will measure changes in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity over 7 days using a wristband tracker.
