NCT ID NCT07647185

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether giving caregivers hands-on practice plus a video to review at home improves their knowledge, skills, and stress levels when caring for a patient with a feeding tube (PEG). About 54 caregivers will be randomly assigned to either the video-enhanced training or standard hospital instruction. Researchers will measure anxiety, knowledge, and practical skills before, right after, and two weeks after training.
