Summary
This study tested how the drug azvudine moves through the body and whether it is safe in 24 healthy adults (ages 18-45) and healthy elderly people (ages 60-85). Participants took a single dose of 5 mg, then after a break took the same dose daily for 7 days. The goal was to measure drug levels in the blood and check for side effects, not to treat any disease.
