First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This early-stage study in 50 healthy women with overweight or obesity examines whether two experimental weight-loss injections, AZD6234 and AZD9550, change how the body processes a common birth control pill. Participants will receive the drugs alone and together, and researchers will measure hormone levels in the blood. The goal is to ensure women using these future treatments can still rely on oral contraception.
