Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called AZD5148 to see if it can prevent repeat Clostridioides difficile infections in adults aged 18 and older. About 230 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the drug reduces the chance of another C. diff infection after the first one is treated.
