Summary
This was the first study in people for a new drug called AZD2389. Its main goal was to check if the drug is safe and to see how the body absorbs and processes it. The study involved 120 healthy volunteers, including people of Japanese and Chinese descent, who received either the drug or a placebo. Researchers measured side effects and tracked how the drug moved through the body after single and multiple doses.
