New Clot-Busting device could save lungs in emergency

Summary
This study tests a new device called the Aventus Thrombectomy System to safely remove blood clots from the lungs in people with a sudden, severe pulmonary embolism. About 130 adults aged 18 to 80 with symptoms lasting less than two weeks will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the device improves heart strain and reduces serious complications like bleeding or death.
