New hope for men with advanced penile cancer when chemotherapy fails

Summary

This study is testing whether the immunotherapy drug avelumab can help men with advanced penile cancer that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery. It is for patients who are not suitable for standard platinum-based chemotherapy or whose cancer has continued to grow despite that treatment. The main goal is to see if the treatment can shrink or stop the growth of tumors.
