Summary

This study follows 100 adults aged 35-70 with mildly elevated blood pressure to see how their aldosterone hormone system changes over time. Participants will eat special high-salt or low-salt diets for a few days each year to test how their body responds. The goal is to better understand a condition called autonomous aldosterone secretion, which may contribute to high blood pressure.
