Robot pump trial offers hope for diabetics with failing kidneys
NCT ID NCT06463483
Summary
This study is testing if an automated insulin pump system can help people who have both diabetes and advanced kidney disease. The system continuously monitors blood sugar and automatically delivers insulin, aiming to keep levels in a safe range. Researchers will compare this automated system to the participants' usual insulin injections to see if it improves blood sugar control and quality of life.
