Summary

This study tests an automated system that uses patient risk levels to send reminders for follow-up appointments. About 1,000 adults with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) will be randomly assigned to either get the reminder tool or usual care. The goal is to see if the tool helps patients stay on schedule and reduces emergency visits, steroid use, or surgery.
