New school program aims to ease autism behavior challenges

Summary

This study tests two approaches in public schools: a teacher-led program (RUBIES) to reduce challenging behaviors in autistic children, and a leadership strategy (HELM) to help schools keep using effective methods. About 373 teachers and students in grades K-5 will take part. The goal is to improve behavior and make lasting changes in how schools support autistic children.
