Drug eases ADHD symptoms in kids with autism

Summary
This study tested whether atomoxetine, a medication for ADHD, can help children with autism who also have problems with hyperactivity, inattention, or impulsivity. Sixty children took either atomoxetine or a placebo for 8 weeks. The goal was to see if the drug reduced ADHD symptoms. Results showed improvement in hyperactivity and inattention compared to placebo.
