First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether a gentle nerve stimulation device (taVNS) used at home can improve walking, balance, and other symptoms in 16 adults with Parkinson's disease. Participants will self-administer 1-hour daily sessions for 8 weeks and complete brain scans, assessments, and questionnaires. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and helps reduce symptom burden.
